| Exponªnt Establishes Offices in Europe: Joint Venture Leads to Creation of Chain International |

| JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA and APPELDOORN, NETHERLANDS, - Exponªnt, the systems integration consultancy formerly known as Brainware Consulting, through a partnership with two Dutch IT industry veterans, has established a company called Chain International to represent its interests in Europe. Based in Apeldoorn in The Netherlands, Chain International will be responsible for Exponªnt's marketing activities, communication and contract management throughout Europe. |

Jan Smit, Offshore Executive at Exponªnt, states, "Exponªnt's partners in Chain International, Ton Essentam and Dirk van Steenbergen, have considerable experience in the software consulting field throughout Europe and have worked with Exponªnt representatives on various business ventures in Holland in the past. We are pleased to be associated with them in an official capacity." |

According to Smit, Chain International's primary focus will be on securing new offshore development projects. "An offshore development project is where a customer outsources the development and maintenance of its software overseas," he explains. "The establishment of an Offshore Development marketing office was the next logical step in extending our current ability to conduct application development projects for customers off-site." |

| Exponªnt focuses on three centres of excellence. In the legacy software environment, it has a resource pool of skilled personnel that are experienced in working with traditional databases, operating environments, languages and tools such as CICS, Cobol and Adabas, while in the new-age technology arena, the company has qualified technicians in databases, operating environments, languages and tools including Visual Basic, C++ and SQL Server. In the third centre of excellence, Exponªnt undertakes Web-orientated assignments involving the presentation layer, the application or Web server, the database server and application design.

Smit concludes, "Chain International will be responsible for opening new doors for Exponªnt in Europe which will enable the use of South African resources, conducting projects in South Africa. In addition, Chain will undertake the on-site account management, while Exponªnt executes the operational activities locally." |
