| At the same time the New Economy business models require rapid online business operations, be it through the supply chain or otherwise and even in this arena the playing fields are changing from the basic payment gateways to fully online billing and payment systems, requiring online Operational Support Systems (OSS) in addition to the Business Support Systems (BSS) which were the traditional IT focus area. These online OSS systems form the hub of the New Economy business environment, by providing transaction mediation, billing, collection / payment, Customer Relations Management as a unit. |
